first attempt

nothing fancy. just a test subject. my sister, an artist in her own right, recently counseled me to start putting my art into another medium so that i wasn't just drawing something, but would be actually*making* something. it seemed like a good idea, and i wanted to try my hand at relief carving. so here we go.
